Core Skills:
- Amazon Sponsored Ads Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Amazon’s advertising platform, campaign types, and bid strategies.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze PPC metrics and make decisions to optimize campaigns for best ROI.
- Keyword Research: Using tools and intuition to identify high-performance keywords.
- Budget Management: Efficiently manage daily/weekly/monthly ad budgets to maximize returns.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor market and competitor trends to adjust PPC strategies accordingly.
- Copywriting Skills: Crafting compelling product titles, descriptions, and ad copy.
- Familiarity with Amazon’s A10 Algorithm: Knowledge about ranking factors and tactics to boost product visibility.
- Excel/Google Sheets: Comfort in analyzing data, preparing reports, and forecasting.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work closely with marketing, inventory, and sales teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Campaign Management: Set up, monitor, and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns.
- Performance Analysis: Regularly review campaign metrics to ensure optimal performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Budget Oversight: Allocate and manage budgets to ensure efficient ad spend.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for leadership.
- Keyword Optimization: Continuously update and refine keyword lists and negative keyword lists to optimize campaign performance.
- Ad Copywriting: Write and test different ad copies to identify the most effective messages.
- A/B Testing: Conduct regular tests to determine the most effective campaign settings and strategies.
- Collaborate with E-commerce Team: Work closely with other e-commerce team members to integrate PPC strategies with other marketing efforts.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Amazon advertising.
- Provide Training: As a leading expert, train junior staff and team members on Amazon PPC best practices.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree: In any field.
- Certifications: Amazon Advertising certification or other relevant digital marketing certifications would be an added benefit.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum Experience: At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon PPC campaigns.
- E-commerce Experience: Familiarity with Amazon’s Seller Central and/or Vendor Central platforms.
- Track Record: Proven history of optimizing Amazon campaigns to increase sales and reduce ACoS (Advertising Cost of Sale).
Technical Proficiencies:
- PPC Tools: Experience with Amazon ad management tools like Sellics, Jungle Scout, Helium 10, or similar.
- Analytics: Proficient in using analytics tools like Google Analytics or Amazon Brand Analytics.
- MS Office/Google Workspace: Especially Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
Soft Skills:
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to dissect complex data to make informed decisions.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures data accuracy and highly-effective ad copy.
